On her debut album Holograma, Oona Dahl's penchant for experimentation is guided by an innate understanding of what makes a great song. Emphasizing these musical attributes, Holograma further reveals the emergence of a songwriter hinting at influence from the ambient vocal offerings of This Mortal Coil to the electronica of Bjork without ever sounding like anything other than herself. A timeless character threads the needle through leftfield house, electronica and pop-infused ambience. Clocking in at 50 minutes in length, Holograma is a proper album experience by an artist who's found both her feet and, her voice, across the full spectrum of electronic music.
